Lead UX Designer, proposed multiple new navigations until landing on the final version.
Oversaw the progress of the work across all designers.

Create a navigation to allow easy movement between different categories.
Allow for near infinite scaling of new navigation sections to be added to the nav.
Challenges
Find a navigation that fits into YouTube Kids “unique” horizontal main page design.
Made it engaging enough for kids to increase their category exploration.
Success metrics
Increase MAUs.
Increase exploration of multiple categories.
Increase kids and parents satisfaction. (follow up surveys)
The new top level navigation allowed for more categories to be added to the YouTube Kids app.
